As an employee and small business owner, I love G Suite. I think it’s one of the best tools I have, mainly because it’s very easy to use and has a lot of functionality.

Whether I’m working with an editor on a new Rays Technology blog post, scheduling time to chat with new customers, or sending fun GiIF emails to friends, G Suite can help you do almost anything on your computer, productive or otherwise, and G Suite can come in handy.

In 2019, Google will enter 2019 with 5 million paid G Suite customers, a 25-year increase since the beginning of 2017. I will make this statistic self-evident. G Suite is a valuable tool for individuals and businesses around the world. Notable G Suite customers include Uber, BuzzFeed, PwC and, of course, us.

If you haven’t used the G Suite platform yet, we encourage you to take a look. By reading this guide, you can better understand the G Suite platform, learn how to optimize your account, and how to use it to grow better. The best way to do this is to bookmark it for future reference.

What is G Suite?

G Suite is a collection of commercial, productivity, collaboration, and educational software developed by Google. G Suite’s main tools include Gmail, Drive, Docs, Docs, Sheets, Slides, Forms, Calendar, Google Plus, Site, Hangouts, and Keep.

G Suite was launched 12 years ago as Google Apps for Your Domain, when it was published as Google Apps for Your Domain. Originally published as Gmail, Google Talk, Google Calendar and Google Page Creator (now called Sites). Two months later, Google Apps for Education followed.

Over the past 10 years, Google has released tools and updates as part of its app suite. In September 2016, Google Apps changed its name to G Suite, and soon after, the company launched its first hardware product. Jamboard.

The G Suite platform also includes G Suite Marketplace (originally released in 2010), which allows you to install third-party cloud apps as part of the G Suite toolset.

Who’s using G Suite?

G Suite is available to businesses and individuals. However, consumer accounts are not necessarily called “G Suite”.

While G Suite services are free for consumers, businesses pay for enterprise features such as custom email domain names, unlimited cloud storage, additional management and marketing tools, and 24/7 support. (We’ll discuss the price structure of the G kit later). If your business has multiple users on G Suite, you’ll also be charged.

But unlike other free consumer software, free G Suite users don’t see ads when they use the service. Rewards: Google does not use the information stored in The G Suite app and account for advertising purposes.

G Suite Products

Google offers a wide range of products for personal and business use. Most products are accessible through a Google account (click on the menu in the upper right corner), but some products need to be installed as an extension for Google Chrome to get all the functionality.

Later, we’ll show you how to set up and manage a G Suite account, but now let’s take a look at the different tools in G Suite.


Gmail is G Suite email software. It was launched in 2004 and currently has more than 1 billion users worldwide.

With the G Suite program, businesses can enjoy 30GB of storage, custom company email addresses ([email protected]), unlimited Google group email addresses, 24-hour phone and email support, and compatible plug-ins available through G Suite Place.

Google Drive

Google Drive, G Suite’s cloud storage platform, was launched in 2012. Drive manages everything in the company and supports collaboration across the enterprise. It also allows you to view a variety of document formats, so you don’t have to download additional software to your device.

Depending on the G Suite program, businesses can enjoy 30GB, 1TB, or unlimited storage per user, and can audit and report Drive content.

Documents, worksheets, and slides

Google Docs, Google Sheets, and Google Slides are G Suite’s word processors, spreadsheets, and demoprograms, respectively. They were added to the platform in 2006.

These programs allow immediate file making, automatically save changes, and track their legislative history. Users can insert comments, suggest edit, chat through chats, and create templates for future use.

With the G Suite program, businesses can enjoy unlimited revision history and other benefits.


Google Forms is G Suite’s web form and survey tool. Also introduced in 2006, Forms has many of the same features as Docs, Sheet, and Slides, such as auto-save, foot operation, and template creation. To collect data through the form, users can personalize surveys or quizzes, send URLs to respondents, and view the data (automatically collected in Sheet).


Google Calendar is G Suite’s online calendar. Launched in 2006 and integrated with Gmail, it manages schedules, appointments, meetings, and tasks (via Google Tasks).

With the G Suite program, businesses can enjoy smart schedules (open time windows that employees can see on colleagues’ calendars), Google Group’s calendars, calendars for meeting rooms and shared resources, public calendars, allowing customers to view company events, and easily removing them from external calendars such as iCal, Outlook, or Exchange.

Google Plus

Google Plus is the network of the G Suite. It was launched in 2011, and as of October 2018, Google plans to shut down Google Plus to consumers in April 2019 and Google Plus in April 2019.

However, through the G Suite program, businesses can still enjoy the service, as well as restricted communities and enhanced privacy controls.


Google Sites is the website builder of G Suite. It joined the platform in 2008 and allows users to create websites with little coding knowledge or design skills. Users can use pre-made templates to create landing pages and project sites and publish them internally or publicly.


Google Hangouts is G Suite’s communications and messaging tool. Originally launched as Google Talk in 2006, Hangouts supports text, voice and video conversations (up to 250 people) and can be used between desktop and mobile devices. It is also a common alternative to Slack.

With the G Suite program, businesses can enjoy mid-exclusive calendars, hand-held screen sharing, autofocus and smart mute, public live streaming automatically saved on YouTube, and custom management controls.


Google Keep is a note-keeping tool for G Suite. As the newest member of the G Suite platform, Keep can be used to create, organize, and share notes, lists, pictures, and voice notes, and can be shared across multiple devices. It is available as a Chrome browser download and mobile app.

With the G Suite program, businesses can enjoy exclusive integration with Google Docs and other benefits.

G Suite for Business

There is no doubt that G Suite is a valuable tool for businesses of all sizes, supporting collaboration, organization, productivity, marketing, and sales.

Price of G Suite

Over the past decade, Suite G has grown dramatically without changing prices. (How crazy is this?) )

From day one, Google offered two G Suite Commercial Editions: G Suite Basic ($5 per user per month) and G Suite Business ($10 per user per month). Read more about G Suite Editions here.

On January 16, 2019, Google announced that it would raise the price of G Suite for the first time in a decade (albeit only a fraction). Starting April 2, the base version will be raised to $6 per user per month and the business version to $12 per user per month. Pricing for G Suite Enterprise users does not change.

Despite the increasein prices, G Suite is still the ideal investment for your business. Each user’s pricing model provides a cost for each enterprise that is commensurate with the size of the enterprise, regardless of size. In addition, with g Suite’s flexible program, businesses can pay monthly, avoiding long-term commitments.

Create your G Suite account

As an authorized Google reseller you can contact us directly and we can help you open G Suite without your own hands, but you can also do it yourself. Creating a G Suite account is easy. Go to the G Suite homepage and click On Get Started.

Enter your company name and indicate how many employees you have. You can change this number at any time as your team grows.

Next, enter your contact information (or the information of the person who managed the G Suite account). Google sends confirmations to the email address you insert here, so make sure it’s accessible.

The next screen will ask you if you have a business domain name. If you already have one, please insert it here. If you don’t, you can contact us directly or buy in our online marketplace.

Enter your business address and contact information on the next screen.

Finally, choose a username and password for your G Suite account. You will use these certificates to sign in to any G Suite tool. Note: Your username will also be the first part (or local) of your business email.

In order to complete your account setup, you will be asked to view your account and check out. On this screen, you will see your monthly fee (after the 14-day trial period) and any other one-time charges such as domain names. You will also be asked to view your account information and enter your payment method.

Manage your G Suite account

Once you create a G Suite account, you’ll be directed to the G Suite management panel. This is arguably the most important part of a G Suite account – you can manage all your settings from this page.

Let’s break down the sections and what you can do in each section.


Here you can add new users to your G Suite account. You can also manage and assign various attributes to your users, such as positions and departments, as well as track their last sign-in and email usage.

Company Profile

Here you can update your company’s information and personalize your G Suite account by using the company’s logo in your G Suite account. You can also create custom URLs for your users to your various G Suite services.


Here you can view your account fees and manage your G Suite license. Whichever version (plan) you choose, you should reflect it here.


This is where you track the use of G Suite services and applications and user activity. Under Highlights, you’ll see an overview of the usage activity, user status, storage statistics, and security for each application. Under Reports, you can see the reporting options for running specific services, devices, and users. You can also run an audit to see which services and tools are being accessed by which users.


This is where you manage the G Suite service and its settings. Here you’ll see the number of G Suite core apps you’re using, other Google services you’re using, and any Marketplace or Security Claims Mark Language (SAML) services that you’ve connected to your account.

Device management

Here you can secure your company data on all devices connected to your G Suite account. You can see how many mobile and Chrome devices are connected and how many Google devices, such as Jamboard, are connected to your account. There is also a handy screen on which you can manage all your company’s devices.


Here you can manage all the security features of your G Suite account. From password management and monitoring to single sign-on (SSO) settings, this page can help keep your G Suite account and users safe.

Support features

Here, you can get G Suite support by phone or email, 24/7. But before you’re directed to the Live Support Line, you’ll see a pop-up “Administrator Help” box with the recommended help content.

Data migration

Here you can import your company’s email, calendar, and contact data. Google makes it easy for you to import any company data you need to successfully organize and use G Suite. You need to migrate every type of data, and you need to run this tool. To run the migration, you need to migrate the source, connection protocol, and account credentials to verify that you have the data.


Here you can see information about any business area connected to your G Suite account.

Buildings and resources

Here you can manage and monitor any buildings, rooms, and company resources connected to your G Suite account. Here you can insert any meeting and meeting room that you want users to schedule on the calendar. You can also access insights to tell you how much room is being used and when.


This is where you create groups and mailing lists. Groups are the convenience of communicating with a part of your entire team or organization at the same time. You can also provide each group with its own calendar to schedule events and management team meetings.

The role of managers

Here, you can add a new administrator and manage the current administrator role and permissions for your G Suite account. You can also set administrator rights for specific groups, services, and devices. You’ll see which administrators have what permissions you can change accordingly.

Domain name

Here you can add or remove domain names related to your G Suite account. You can add a new domain name or an alias to this page, as long as you can confirm ownership. You can also manage redirects when visitors access your domain name.

Six tips for making your business grow better with G Suite

G Suite is a valuable platform. But how can you use it to better grow your business? Below, we’ll show you six specific strategies for making the most of your G Suite account.

1. Create a brand template with Drive

Brand recognition is critical, and brand and logo design can be expensive. Who wants to see their marketing expenses wasted (i.e. seeing employees using non-branded files, presentations, and graphics)? Of course I don’t.

Use your GSuitr service to simplify the process of maintaining your brand. Google Docs, Sheet, Slides, and Forms all have template features — let designers create in-brand design templates and save them to your Drive. Then, encourage your employees to use these templates instead of starting from scratch.

2. Collect customer feedback using forms

Customer feedback is the lifeblood of the company’s health and growth. If you don’t know what you’re doing, you can’t do more. If you don’t know what you’re doing wrong, you can’t fix it. Customer feedback should be high lying to your company.

Google Forms makes it easy to collect and analyze data from customers and customers. Use the tool to create simple questionnaires, collect customer feedback, market surveys, your net promoter ratings, and more. You can also use forms for internal research or to gather information from peers and colleagues.

3. Increase remote employee efficiency through the calendar

Listen, while it’s good to work remotely, it’s good to work with the team every day. First of all, it will be easier to cooperate if you meet in person. However, this is not always possible for those working remotely or across borders.

If you have remote employees, Google Calendar can help them feel what’s happening in touch and engagement. 4. Mission with Keep Management Team

The Internet keeps us connected, but remote collaboration is still difficult. If you’ve ever wanted a place where you can take notes, make lists, sketch, and save pictures digitally while working with multiple people, keep your solution. Even if you don’t use G Suite, Keep is a popular Evernote alternative, and even if you don’t use G Suite, it’s super useful.

Use Keep to manage team tasks, unfinished projects, and ongoing collaboration. You can create checklists to understand tasks and link collaborators so they can see the tasks that are due. You can also save articles and websites to keep folders and add important ideas and ideas to your notes to make online research easier.

5. View reports on how employees use G Suite

Not everyone can use G Suite equally. The report panel on the Administrator Dashboard tells you how often and how many applications your team uses with G Suite tools and applications. Use this insight to better educate your team about what G Suite provides. In addition, the reporting panel provides valuable security information — such as which devices are used to log in and which users may need to install updates– so you can keep your team and data safe.

G Suite Marketplace is one of my favorite places to shop. Google has integrated hundreds of third-party tools that only make life easier for you and your employees. You can choose from business, productivity, communications, education, and utilities. Download apps such as Zoom, Xero, Google Analytics, and Asana to seamlessly link to your G Suite account and integrate with other apps such as Sheet and Calendar.

Tip: Keep an eye out for how your employees use any new tools to see if they are helpful to your business.
